December - Week 1:
"The Source"

Corps cadets will learn about two genres in the Bible: wisdom literature and narrative literature. They will learn the history of Nehemiah and how his actions of going to God first show true wisdom. They will explore what the Bible says about the difference between worldly wisdom and godly wisdom as well as what “fear of the Lord” means. As application, they will consider how knowledge and wisdom are different and whether or not they have a “fear of the Lord.”
