November - Week 4:
"Foolishness"

Corps cadets will learn about how the world sees Scripture as foolishness, but we see it as God’s power and authority. They will discuss why we should pay attention to the Word, according to what Scripture tells us. They will also discuss how the Word helped Jesus when He was tempted and if the Word is still applicable to us today. As application, they will discuss how the Bible can help them when they are tempted, further discussing how they can study and learn the Word. They will learn about hermeneutics and, specifically, exegesis. Finally, they will share how they will get to know the Word better for themselves.
